Our specialties
Depression & Anxiety
Do you feel sad most days and struggle to get motivated to keep up with the tasks of daily living? Depression and anxiety can occur independently or together. Both are very common. They typically have an emotional, physical, and mental impact.
Trauma & PTSD
Have you experienced a natural disaster, sudden loss of a loved one, accident, physical/sexual assault, or witnessed violence?
Have you experienced difficulties with subtle injustices, experienced emotional neglect in the past or present with family or loved ones, and/or felt emotionally disconnected from your partner?
Sex & Love Addiction
“For sex addicts, sex becomes the priority for which they sacrifice everything. They put sex before their children, spouses, and friends, despite great cost to themselves. Just as an alcoholic has an affair with the bottle, the sex addict’s relationship is with sex and romance.” (Carnes, 2001)
Grief & Loss
Loss isn’t limited to the death of a loved one; it can also be the end of a relationship, a job, or a significant change in life circumstances. These experiences can leave you feeling lost, anxious, and unsure of how to navigate the future. The pain of loss can be immobilizing, leading to feelings of emptiness, anger, guilt, or even relief—all of which are normal responses.
Substance Use
Substance abuse and dependence are caused by multiple factors, including genetic vulnerability, environmental stressors, social pressures, individual personality characteristics, and psychiatric problems. We can help you in the journey to recovery.
Children, Teens, & Parenting
There are many obstacles that children and adolescents face these days, albeit stress, anxiety, depression, or peer conflict, to name a few. Oftentimes when youth face these hardships, it can impact engagement in their environments and relationships.
Couple & Family Therapy
Escalation, defensiveness, and withdrawal are common interactive patterns that occur between partners in conflict. Many couples begin to feel stuck and the present issue tends to go unresolved, creating resentment, blame, helplessness, and distance.
Group Therapy
At Elliant Counseling Services, we offer “closed” group therapy throughout the year, meaning therapy groups that meet regularly for a set number of weeks to offer members support and continuity.
We offer groups for betrayal trauma, sex/porn addiction, professional burnout for healers, parenting support & psycho-education, and more!
