Beth is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a BA in Biology and an MA in Counseling, both from Northwestern University. She came to counseling as a career later in life, as she practiced as a dentist for 35 years. Instead of golf or tennis, she chose counseling for her second chapter.

From joining kids in the playroom to heading outside with a teen to walk and talk, to strolling down memory lane with a senior, Beth relishes finding healing for clients of any age. As a therapist, Beth is person-centered, compassion-focused, and believes in the fundamental potential of all human beings. Trauma and attachment issues are central to her understanding of each person's experience.

As an adopted individual, Beth has a connection to all those who have been touched by adoption, and works to help adopted children, adults, and families navigate their unique experience with love, confidence, and grace. Beth is a mother and a grandmother, as well as a devoted hiker, skier, runner, and reader.
