Carson recently graduated from CCU, completing her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Carson is practicing psychosomatic processing to assist clients in their journey of growth and healing. She has completed training in Brain spotting, Dialectic Behavioral therapy, and Play therapy to provide various resources for her clients. She continues her journey with us here at Elliant Counseling as she pursues her LPCC. 

Before finding her place in counseling, Carson worked with kids as a Behavioral technician for five years. Beginning with toddlers with autism in Omaha, Carson found a passion for working with kids and then continued her work with pre-teens and teenagers as she moved back to Colorado. This experience showed Carson the resilience that can be found in the kids she worked with and their families. She hopes to work toward tapping into that with clients as she walks alongside people in their journey of healing and growth as she continues to grow in the field. 

In her free time, Carson enjoys spending time with her friends and family and her family’s puppy Jackson. She spends her free time watching movies and taps into her creative side by trying new makeup looks.
